Alberto Gilardino insists he is more than happy to have stayed with Genoa.
The 31-year-old joined Genoa in January 2012, but has only played 14 times for the Grifone as he spent last term on loan at Bologna.
On the last day of the window he was strongly linked to move away as part of a triple deal which would have seen Marco Borriello and Fabio Quagliarella moving too - but in the end they all stayed put.
And Gilardino is pleased, saying: "I'm really happy to have remained in Genoa. I'll give all myself for this jersey."
Gilardino was joined at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris by a number of new faces on the last day with Ioannis Fetfatzidis, Emanuele Calaio, Adrian Stoian and Albano Bizzarri all completing moves.
One player who did not stay at Genoa is Antonio Floro Flores, who completed a deal with Serie A newcomers Sassuolo.
They also signed keeper Gianluca Pegolo from Siena and defender Raffaele Pucino from Chievo Verona.
